585 Easy Start Camshaft Kit
Allows for easy start by initially reducing crank compression, but once the engine starts and rpm increases, the compression release lobe is centrifugally retracted and the engine runs normally, with full compression, and without any loss in performance
Designed for 88 – 106 CID engines with compression ratios from 9.7:1 to 10.5:1 and 106 – 124 CID engines from 9.0:1 to 10.0:1 compression
Provides massive horsepower and torque increasses starting at 3000 rpm and hold steady to redline
3500 rpm – 6000 rpm for 88″-103″ engines and 2200 rpm – 5000 rpm for larger engines
Bolt-in
Includes camshafts, gearcover gasket, bearings, retaining ring, o-ring, threat lock and instructions
Made in the USA
Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance and valve-to-piston clearance.
Not for models with OEM compression releases.
Includes 4-gear set.Due to the inherent characterics of gear drives, there may be more valve train noise.
